Preventative hygiene care
Good oral hygiene is important, not only for looks, but for general health as well. Poor oral hygiene can lead to a variety of dental and medical problems such as gum disease, infection, bone loss, heart disease, strokes and more. Regular check ups and cleanings can prevent these problems as well as provide you with good oral hygiene.
Composite tooth-colored fillings
A filling is a substance that dentists use to replace a decayed or broken portion of a tooth. Commonly used substances for fillings include metal, alloy, plastic, porcelain, or a combination of materials (composite). Composite resins are made from plastic materials (glass and resin) and are usually similar to tooth color. They are often used on the front teeth where a natural appearance is important. Composite resins can sometimes also be used on the back teeth.
Porcelain crowns and bridges
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth, covering the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and/or to improve its appearance.
The crowns, when cemented into place, fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line.
If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, your dentist will try to fix it with a filling, crown or other treatment. Sometimes, though, there's too much damage for the tooth to be repaired. This is the most common reason for extracting a tooth.
Dentures and Partials
Beautiful teeth and an attractive smile determine your image and shape your personality by giving you confidence, happiness and vigor. If you are looking to replace natural teeth, it is important to get teeth that fit and make daily chores like biting and chewing easy.
Complete dentures are used to replace teeth when there are no natural teeth remaining. Partial dentures are used when there are one or more teeth missing and the remaining teeth are not strong enough to support bridges. These help to stabilize the remaining
